Winter
after Vince Trimboli

BEE LB
It’s the way our bodies met
drawing close in their knowing;
fingers splayed cat’s cradle,
wanting to touch
tangle together.

We were seeking

a day in December,
spent reaching
for the sight of another--
days in distance, every muscle
straining inside of bodies
inside of other bodies.

To stay warm

we dance around each
other in hazy couplings
BEE LB is an array of letters, bound to impulse; they are a writer creating delicate connections. they have called any number of places home; currently, a single yellow wall in Michigan. they have been published in Crooked Arrow Press, Badlung Press, opia mag, and Revolute Lit, among others. they have work forthcoming from Roanoke Review, fifth wheel press, and Vulneraries Magazine. their portfolio can be found at twinbrights.carrd.co.
